Job Description

Areas of Practical Exposure
Successful candidates will receive structured training and rotational exposure in the following areas:

Legal & Regulatory Practice

  • Legal research and drafting of opinions, correspondence and memoranda.
  • Exposure to litigation preparation, regulatory matters and compliance reviews.
  • Assistance with contract reviews and governance documentation.

Forensic, Risk & Compliance Support

  • Supporting forensic investigations and regulatory reviews.
  • Document and evidence review.
  • Exposure to PFMA/MFMA, SCM irregularities, UIFW expenditure and misconduct matters.
  • Assisting with POPIA, AML/CFT and compliance frameworks.

Professional Development

  • Formal induction programme.
  • Ongoing technical training workshops.
  • Structured supervision and mentorship.
  • Performance feedback and skills assessments.

 
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens, aged 35 years or younger
  • Hold one of the following qualifications:
    • LLB (Law Graduates).
    • Degree or Postgraduate Qualification in Risk Management, Compliance, Governance or related fields.
  • Have achieved a minimum academic average of 65%.
  • Have no criminal record or pending disciplinary proceedings.
