They are focused on providing premium products and technical solutions across Southern Africa. They are looking for an experienced and results-driven New Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop profitable business in the B2B Direct Business sector, in line with the companys growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, particularly within sectors such as mining, industrial, construction, and fleet. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, proactively prospecting and qualifying leads. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts. Identify business strengths and customer needs, conducting thorough research and market analysis. Manage upselling opportunities within the current customer base. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to handle tenders, RFPs, and RFQs. Provide support to the sales team to meet targets and achieve growth objectives. Monitor, measure, and report on sales metrics, ensuring all activities align with budget expectations. Manage customer complaints and resolve escalated issues promptly. Ensure compliance with company policies, business ethics, and procedures. Minimum Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or a relevant field. At least 5 years of experience in Sales and Marketing with a proven track record in business development. Strong understanding of B2B business development, particularly in the mining, industrial, construction, or fleet sectors. Knowledge of the petrochemical and energy industry, with experience in B2B Lubricants supply considered advantageous. Proficient in using Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor, analyze, and provide recommendations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively. Skills and Attributes: High levels of integrity and strong interpersonal relationships with both internal and external parties. Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in the companys best interest. Self-starter with a positive attitude, flexible, and results-oriented. Hoofverantwoordelikhede: Ontwikkel en handhaaf ‘n sterk verkoops-pyplyn deur proaktief leidrade te soek en te kwalifiseer. Berei maandelikse, kwartaallikse en jaarlikse verkoopsvoorspellings op. Identifiseer besigheidsterme en kliëntbehoeftes deur deeglike navorsing en markanalise. Identifiseer groei geleenthede binne die bestaande kliëntbasis. Samewerking met interne rolspelers vir tenders, RFPs en RFQs. Bied ondersteuning aan die verkoopspan om te help om doelwitte te bereik en groei te bewerkstellig. Monitor, meet en rapporteer oor verkoopstatistieke, en verseker dat alle aktiwiteite met die begrotingsdoelwitte ooreenstem. Bestuur kliënteklagtes en los probleme vinnig op. Minimum Vereistes: Tersiêre kwalifikasie in Verkope, Besigheidadministrasie, Ingenieurswese of ‘n relevante veld. Minstens 5 jaar se ervaring in Verkope en Bemarking met ‘n bewese rekord in besigheid-ontwikkeling. Sterk begrip van B2B besigheid-ontwikkeling, veral in die myn-, industriële, konstruksie of vloot sektore. Kennis van die petrochemiese en energiebedryf, met ervaring in B2B sal voordelig wees. Vertroud in die gebruik van Salesforce.com of soortgelyke CRM-gereedskap. Sterk analitiese vaardighede met die vermoë om te monitor, analiseer en aanbevelings te lewer. Uitstekende kommunikasievaardighede, beide mondelings en skriftelik. Vermoë om interne en eksterne verhoudings effektief te bestuur. Vaardighede en Eienskappe: Hoë vlakke van integriteit en sterk interpersoonlike verhoudings met interne en eksterne partye. Vermoë om onder druk te werk en besluite te neem in die maatskappy se beste belang. Selfgemotiveerde individu met ‘n positiewe houding.
