Key Essential Skills

• Fluent Business German (verbal & written).
• Fluent Business English (verbal & written).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a global production support environment.

Advantageous Skills & Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Information Technology Qualification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of IT-related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IT operations support services with precision and professionalism.
• Provide production support for all BMW plants.
• Serve as the first point of contact for IT incidents via telephone.
• Pre-qualify and classify incidents, identifying relationships and dependencies.
• Resolve system issues using user manuals and standard procedures.
• Monitor and process IT system error messages.
• Guide users through the incident management process.
• Initiate escalation procedures when necessary.
• Handle email-based support requests.
• Act as an information conduit between management and end-users.
• Participate in 24/7/365 shift-based support as part of a collaborative team.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as outlined in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.
