Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate overhead cranes , hoist and other lifting equipment to handle glass products in manufacturing , cutting , storage or loading areas
• Safely lift , transport and position glass sheet , packs  and crates according to work orders and production schedules 
• Inspect lifting equipment before use to ensure they are in good condition and meet safety standards
• Load and unload delivery vehicle , carefully 
• Ensuring glass integrity and stability during movement 
• Monitor crane performance and report any defects , malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to maintenance or supervision 

Qualifications:

Grade 12/Matric, 
2-3 years experience within the glass industry
Valid overhead crane certificate 3.2 Ton
Knowledge of lifting techniques 
Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of crane operation maintenance
