Job Summary
- Proven management experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations (3+ years preferred) with experience in welding or gas consumable industry
- Strong understanding of international trade, logistics, and supplier management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and master data management.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
Duties will include
- Manage and maintain supplier agreements to ensure optimal terms and compliance.
- Oversee local and international supplier pricing to ensure cost-efficiency and competitiveness.
- Maintain and update Material and Supplier Master Data (Local & International).
- Source products and materials globally, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery standards are met.
- Process and manage purchases across local and international suppliers.
- Handle international supplier invoices and coordinate timely, accurate payments.
- Manage local stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory and availability for production/sales.
- Create and maintain product records in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Review and sign off test certificates to ensure compliance with product standards.
- Approve shipment costings in line with budget and cost control policies.
- Prepare and deliver month-end reports, providing insights into procurement performance.
