Job Description
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for all levels (technical, administrative, and management roles)
- Develop and post job advertisements, screen CVs, conduct interviews, and manage shortlisting
- Coordinate skills assessments, background checks, and reference verifications
- Maintain a strong talent pipeline for key technical positions
- Ensure all recruitment practices are aligned with company policies and labour legislation
Human Resources Generalist Duties
- Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes in collaboration with management
- Manage onboarding, induction, and exit processes
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files
- Assist with training coordination and performance management processes
- Provide guidance and support to management on HR best practices and labour legislation
- Assist with payroll input and attendance management as required
- Contribute to employee engagement and retention initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the motor industry in a recruiter/ hr role (preferred and advantageous)
- Diploma in Human Resources Management (essential)
- Proven experience in recruitment across all levels
- Solid understanding of HR practices, labour laws, and disciplinary procedures
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Computer literate (MS Office, HR systems, and online recruitment platforms)

- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently
- Knowledge of the automotive or gearbox industry will be highly advantageous
Advantages / Beneficial:
- Experience working in a technical or workshop-based environment
- Exposure to industrial relations and CCMA processes
- Familiarity with HR software or payroll systems (e.g., Sage, VIP, or similar)
