About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client’s fully remote finance team, supporting a portfolio of US-based and international entities. This role is responsible for end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger management, month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and post journal entries to the general ledger
Own and execute month-end and year-end close processes
Perform detailed balance sheet and bank reconciliations
Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records
Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies

Requirements

Strong practical knowledge of GAAP (cash and accrual accounting)
Proven hands-on experience with NetSuite (mandatory)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)
Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote, US-aligned working environment

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
