Your expertise will significantly impact our clients businesses by driving financial insights and supporting their growth.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.Manage tax compliance, including preparation and submission of SARS e-Filing, ensuring all deadlines are met.Lead a small team of bookkeepers, providing training, support, and guidance to enhance their skills and productivity.Communicate regularly with clients regarding their financial status and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.Maintain accurate records and documentation to facilitate audits and internal controls.Support the finance team on special projects and initiatives as needed.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax.
