Job Summary
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a debtors or collections environment.
- A relevant accredited diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Clear ITC record.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with Great Plains 18 (advantageous).
- In-depth knowledge of credit laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with credit risk assessment techniques, collections, and financial analysis.
- Ability to develop and implement credit policies and procedures.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
- Willingness to travel to rural areas and informal settlements for customer visits.

Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate clients` creditworthiness through thorough research and analysis.
- Develop credit scoring models to predict risk and improve decision-making.
- Approve or reject credit applications based on financial credibility, potential revenue, and risk assessment.
- Negotiate and establish credit terms with clients.
- Monitor payment trends and ensure timely collections.
- Maintain accurate records of credit applications and financial transactions.
- Develop, review, and update company credit policies to align with industry standards and regulations.
- Follow up with clients to manage debt settlements and trade agreements.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory credit procedures.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management on credit risk, outstanding debts, and financial trends.
