About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified solicitor to lead our legal team within the engineering industry. As a Senior Legal Council, you will provide expert legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders, develop and implement legal strategies to support business objectives, and oversee legal compliance and risk management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the legal team within the engineering industry
- Providing expert legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders

- Negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts
- Contracts Management
- Handling dispute resolution and litigation matters

Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with current practising certificate
- Proven experience in a legal leadership role, preferably within the engineering sector
- Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Qualifications
- LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree or equivalent
- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant legal field are desirable
- Membership of relevant professional bodies or associations is preferred
