Job Summary

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Full payroll function
- Applications for tax directives
- Completing statutory returns and handling of statutory payments
- Completing IRP 501 recons and year-end on e@asyFile
- Dealing with staff queries
- Garnishees & maintenance orders
- Handling administration of medical aid, provident and funeral funds
- Capturing employee data in respect of engagements, terminations, transfers, and promotions
- Reconciliations of medical aid, provident and other third- party payments
- Importing data
- Checking payroll variances
- Preparing payroll files for finance and producing reports for month-end
- Filing & scanning
Education
Requirements:
- Completed Matric (Grade 12)
- Tertiary qualification in accounting or payroll preferred
Job Requirements and Skills:
- 4 to 5 years` experience in a Senior Payroll Administrator position essential
- Sage 300 People working knowledge is ESSENTIAL
- Strong understanding of statutory payments and returns
- Payroll accounting and reporting to finance experience is essential
- Proficient in MS packages
- Deadline driven
- Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
- Team player
