Job Summary
- Matiric
- NQF 5 – Production/Operations Management Qualification
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Food Manufacturing environment
- At least 5 years Supervisory experience
- Food processing equipment and food processing knowledge
- Understanding of LRA and other applicable legislation Good understanding and experience in all applicable audits (Food Manufacturing) Good knowledge of HACCP; GMP; and food related practices
Critical Competencies:
- Understanding of Productivity and Yields
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety, Hygiene, Food Safety, Quality Systems and HACCP
- Knowledge of IR Legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA)
Essential Skills required:
- Multi-Tasking Abilities and Flexibility; quick thinking.
- Strong Organisational Skills
- Strong Supervisor and Leadership Skills
- Highly Motivated and Motivational
- Ability to work Effectively on own as well as part of a Team
- Understand Financial Data and Cost Controls
- Ability to function well in Pressurised Situations
- Good Communicator with Managers; all staff and departments, Customers and Suppliers
- Good ability to implement and maintain systems
- Continuous visibility in plant to assess and observe operations and processes to improve.
- Ability to improvise and make quick, but economical decisions.
