Job Description

Duties:
 
Be the first point of contact for the guest
In charge of welcoming all guests at the Spa.
Making bookings for treatments and responding to all enquiries done either in person, over the phone or via email
Handling of payments for treatments and daily cash-up procedures and other basic administrative duties
Ensure all daily, weekly & monthly reports and recons pertaining to all transactions are accurate and timeously submitted to Management.
Ensuring all operational procedures are met and standards of appearance and codes of conduct are adhered to
Be flexible to changes in Spa working Roster to support the operations of the Spa.
Attend regular staff meetings to keep up to date with Spa operations.
Actively promote the Spa treatments, services & retail
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute towards a quality work environment.
Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
Uphold standards of hygiene and sanitation
Maintain Reception area to a high level of professional, clean, and aesthetically pleasing standards.
Assist in all areas of the Spa operations as requested by management.
Communicate to management any occurrences involving staff or guest in the Spa that require attention.
Monitor availability of treatments and staff to ensure punctual service
Organizing schedules to fully utilize time and profitability
Assist Management Team with monthly staff rosters and scheduling.
Handle Cash, Credit Card & Room Charge transactions and ensure that all dockets are signed
Ensure that all relevant spa staff receives correspondence of their daily schedules.
Oversee completion of daily opening procedures and checking lists per relevant area.
Administer staff and guest scheduling for maximum revenue generation and profitability.
Ensure day end reports are submitted to relevant parties at the close of business.
Assist the Spa Manager in inventory stock take
Provide sales and recon report at month end for payroll purposes.
Develop and maintain gracious and efficient guest interaction procedures.
Promote on going in-house promotions and activities to stimulate sales.
Promote all specials to guests when making bookings.
Anticipate, identify and ensure customer needs are being met in the best possible way.
 
Requirements:
 
Grade 12
Formal qualifications
At least 2+ years’ experience in a 5* Spa establishment.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Spa Service in a luxury Spa & Wellness environment
Computer literate and confident working on Spa Software, Excel & Email
Must have a thorough knowledge of the numerous modalities, possess a general understanding of all Spa Services offered, including special offers and promotions.
Possess excellent communication skills to ascertain and provide solutions for all the guests needs.
Project enthusiasm and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment.
Be a positive and self-motivated team player.
Able to manage workload in order of priorities.
Possess the ability to work without supervision.
Maintain a strong knowledge of all Spa services, promotions and specials.
Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and homecare offered.
