Job Summary
The Stores Assistant / Controller will be responsible for the following:
Stores Duties
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Packing of stock in the stores
- Maintain stock levels in the stores and reporting of low stock levels
- Assisting suppliers when receiving stock
- Issuing of floor stock and handles according to factory demand
- Reporting any stock / handle defects
- Stock takes and stock control
- Follow-up on any discrepancies from suppliers
- Duties as required by the Production Manager
- Adhering to safe practices within store environment
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 coupled with 3-5 years Stores Manufacturing Experience.
- Computer Literacy SYSPRO, Windows and Email.
- Stock take experience.
- Numeracy skills
- Stress Tolerance
- Ability to work in a pressurized environment.
- Overtime will be required from time to time.
The Stores Assistant / Controller will report directly to the Production Manager.
