Job Summary
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma in Finance or related
Experience
- Minimum one year experience in the asset management field
- Good administrative, filing and organisational skills.
- Good verbal communicator and interpersonal skills.
- An intermediate to advanced level of computer literacy, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point.
- Attention to detail
- PFMA knowledge on asset management (added advantage)
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Provide support to the asset management function
- Maintain FIC’s fixed asset register.
- Assist the Asset controller with the physical verification process
- Assist with maintaining the accuracy of the asset registers and safeguarding of assets
- Assist in retrieving audit samples for information requests and ensure timely submission of information to Asset Supervisor
- Daily review of physical security asset management activities
- Printing and pasting of asset list, movement forms, and disposals.
- Facilitate the recording and sign off of allocated assets by new employees
- Assist with the filing of all documents for the relevant assets
- Correctly identify, record, tag and locate assets, in line with set guidelines
- Perform other related duties as delegated
