Job Summary
Responsibilities:
– Participate in project feasibility studies and business cases (including project scoping and structuring, procurement strategy, quantified risk analysis)
– Participate in asset development planning
– Provide technical inputs and analyses for the identification, design, development, processing and evaluation of projects in the division
– Participate and develop strategic integrated transport and logistics planning
– Participate in project and programme management in a major capital project environment
– Good knowledge of supply chain management, complex problem solving
– Computer literate with preferably programming skills such as python, Java and advanced Excel skills
– Good exposure to research, analysis, synthesis and problem-solving
– Must demonstrate strong numeracy capabilities
– Must be able to think logically and work independently
Requirements:
– Computer literate with preferably programming skills such as python, Java and advanced Excel skill
Qualifications and Experience:
– B Eng/BSc Engineering or similar Degree
– A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in Logistics and/or Rail
– Registered as Professional Candidate Engineer
– Geometric and formation design experience using various codes and standards.
– Previous experience should include assessments and analysis, modelling, concept engineering
