Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing receiving, dispatch, and export processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. This role demands excellent organizational skills, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, dispatch, and export operations.
- Ensure incoming goods are accurately received, inspected, and recorded in the inventory system.
- Supervise the dispatch process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Coordinate export shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and address discrepancies promptly.
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for warehouse activities to optimize productivity and accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards within the warehouse environment.
- Utilize computer systems for inventory management, reporting, and tracking of shipments.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric qualification (Grade 12).
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including [e.g., MS Office or inventory software].
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including receiving, dispatch, and export processes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
