JOB TITLE: Bending Machine Operator

JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:

Set up and operate bending machine to bend metal structural shapes, such as metal sheets, bars, rods, angles, pipes, and tubes, to angle or contour specified by work order and drawings.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Program bending machine.
• Position workpiece/sheet against end stop.
• Lubricate workpiece with oil.
• Ensures output parts meet quality requirements
• Use blueprints/plans to measure material for production.
• Monitor machinery and repairs faults.
• Use hand tools and equipment as required
• Comply with all Health and Safety requirements
