George: Golf Reservations Coordinator

Fancourt, South Africas premier golfing, leisure and lifestyle destination, is situated in George in the heart of the Garden Route. We are now accepting applications for a Golf Reservations Coordinator someone to ensure that all golf reservations and enquiries are timeously processed and accurate data captured efficiently to exceed guests expectations. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator with good telephone etiquette, must be able to provide guests/ members with excellent service and must be reliable, honest and organised. Golf knowledge will be advantageous. We consider the following as essential: Qualifications & Experience: Grade 12 or equivalent, At least 2 years working experience in general office administration and a working knowledge of MS Office are essential. Duties & Responsibilities (areas and indicators listed are not exhaustive and may be changed / supplemented to accommodate business needs from time to time): Make golf bookings for individuals or small groups, Compile and distribute the daily Tee sheet and forward to the relevant parties, Print golf cart rental list and forward to the Pro-shop, Assisting the Golf Co-Ordinator with golf days, groups etc., Liaise with members, guests and assist in the Pro Shop when required, To process and manage golf tee times bookings and enquiries, Handling golf tee time related enquiries via telephone calls, emails and online platforms, Record tee time reservations ensuring that booking and guest details are recorded accurately on the reservation systems, Compile and distribute daily tee sheet and golf cart rental reports, as required, in relation to tee time bookings and availability, Assists in coordinating and providing assistance in Reservations Department.
