George: Trainee Inspector

About the Role

The suitable candidate must have animal handling experience and a passion for animal welfare, with a proven ability to handle animals of all species. As a Trainee Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of animal care and welfare, while also supporting our organization’s mission to protect and promote animal rights.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle animals of all species in accordance with established protocols
• Conduct inspections and assessments of animal facilities to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
• Maintain accurate records of animal observations and findings
• Provide support and guidance to colleagues as required

Requirements

• Animal handling experience, including previous work with various species
• A valid driver’s license is a non-negotiable requirement for this role
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work independently and make sound judgments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g. animal science, biology, veterinary medicine)

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this role is $45,000 per annum, paid bi-weekly.
