Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laser Cutting Specialist to join our team at Whoppa engineering in Germiston. As the head of a new team, you will be responsible for operating and programming various laser cutting machines, managing projects, and leading a team of technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and program a HypCut, CypNest, 12KW fiber flatbed laser cutter.
- Operate and program a 4KW fiber tube and section laser with Tube Pro.
- Operate, program, and have experience with CNC 7+1 axis Press Brake.
- Be familiar and efficient with CAD preferably AutoCAD Inventor.
- Have experience with Project Planning, Quality Control, Production, and capable of Managing a team.
Requirements
- Qualified in a Mechanical/Electrical trade.
- Experience operating and programming laser cutting machines.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and CAD software.
