Requirements:

To provide an efficient and technically proficient fault dianoses, service and repair function To provide an effficient and technically proficient engine rebuild function Adhering to company technical and quality standards To ensure that administrative functions are completed timorously and accurately Conduct visual condition inspection of engine components Prepare quotation Send components to pre-approved supplies for overhaul/repair. (outwork) Send components to in-house overhaul/repair section. Perform in-line inspection of in-house overhaul/repair work. Well-developed diagnostic and problem solving skills. Well-developed communication skills english /afrikaans language (verbal and written). Well-developed decision making skills. Well-developed planning and organising skills. Ability to demonstrate discretion and judgement Ability to liase with customers and resolve problems Ability to meet technical and quality standards Min grade 12 or n3. Qualified artisan – trade test pass (diesel fitter / mechanic / automotive machinist). At least 3 years post apprenticeship experience in the field of trade passed. Valid drivers licence (coe 08).
