Job Description
Your duties will encompass:
- Working with Heat treatment furnaces, Mechanical, Dimensional and Chemical analysis inspection.
- Supervision of the heat treatment and quality inspection workstations to ensure effective component flow to facilitate the company assembly line.
- Managing heat treatment personal and inspectors.
- Ensuring inspection and furnace equipment is working.
- Monthly stock taking of equipment and furnace furniture.
- Sourcing and purchasing of heat treatment equipment, inspection equipment and consumables.
- Weekly and monthly reporting on heat treatment through-put, re-works and calculating furnace efficiencies.
- Quality inspection on carburizing and stainless steel.
- Training mechanical inspector.
- Planning of material to be heat treated.
Qualifications
- Engineering Qualification
Skills
- Minimum 3 years` experience in a technical, mechanical, or metallurgical background.
- Proficient in MS Office.
Salary / Package
R250K – R310K CTC
