Hire Resolve’s client, a leading mining company, is currently seeking a skilled Instrument Mechanician to join their team based in Gauteng.

Requirements:

– Senior Certificate (Grade 12)

– N3 / Equivalent Qualification

– Trade Test Certificate in Instrumentation.

– 3 to 5 years’ experience in the industrial instrumentation sector. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Execute industrial instrumentation planned maintenance with certification within specified time and give feedback to the foreman.

– Promptly attend to any industrial instrumentation and related process control systems breakdowns and callouts.

– Manage all maintenance work orders issued on time to ensure that weekly and monthly KPIs are met.

– Ensure that all industrial instrumentation and related process control systems are maintained, and plant reliability is optimized.

– Eliminate equipment downtime and speedily address any occurrences to minimize plant downtime.

– Complete weekly work orders on time and give feedback foreman.

– Participate in Risk Assessments based on external and internal influences.

– Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained at all times while executing your duties.

– Manage others to ensure that unsafe conditions are reported on time to prevent any incidents or accidents.
