Hire Resolve`s client is seeking a Laser Assistant to join our steel manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with laser cutting machines and will support the production of high-quality steel products through precise laser cutting operations. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

– Set up and operate laser cutting machines to cut steel materials according to specifications
– Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and accuracy
– Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
– Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
– Assist in troubleshooting machine issues and performing routine maintenance tasks

Requirements:

– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience working in a steel manufacturing environment
– Experience operating laser cutting machines preferred
– Knowledge of steel materials and cutting processes
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors
– Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
