Job Summary
A SKILLED MACHINE FITTER AND MACHINISTA qualified Machine Fitter and Machinist is required to perform all machine maintenance and repairs on all plant machines and all other related handling.Key
Responsibilities:
Must be able to repair all machines in an engineering shop, this includes , LATHES, MILLING MACHINES, DRILLING MACHINES.General electric fault finding and connections on machines.Manufacture his own parts as far as possible.Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipmentTroubleshoot and repair mechanical issuesCollaborate with the team for continuous improvementExperience & Qualification: Gr 12 (Matric Certificate), Trade Test, Advanced Hydraulic certificate will be an advantage 5-10 years` experience as a hands-on Machine fitter and machinist within a manufacturing and maintenance environment 5 Years experience with fault finding Strong problem-solving skills and Attention to detail.
