1. Order Management: Oversee customer orders and ensure specifications and requirements are met.
2. Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule production and deliveries to meet deadlines.
3. Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished products; initiate replenishment where needed.
4. Communication: Act as the link between customers, production, and suppliers to ensure clear updates on order status and timelines.
5. Problem Solving: Resolve production or delivery challenges such as delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate order records, inventory logs, and production schedules.

Requirements

• 1–2 years’ experience in a steel service centre (cut-to-size environment)
• Knowledge of plasma/profile cutting processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or similar systems
• Matric (relevant tertiary/technical qualification is an advantage)
