Previous working experience and references. Duties (including but not limited to):Alters and repair clothing of residentsBe able to work with different kind of fabrics. (wheelchair and chair fabric)Cutting and sewing fabricsMaintaining a clean workplace and ensure all equipment is in good working order.Good communication skills to communicate with supervisors and care workers regarding the need of his/her services neededOrdering of name tags and sewing on to residents clothingAny other requirements / request regarding sewing matter in AEHome.Receiving and checking of daily laundry from various sections.Help with sorting of daily laundry for washingIroning and folding of washed clothingSorting washed laundry into sections.Other:Must be available to work shifts (including public holidays).Preferably non-smoker.Professional and polite manner.Approachable and empathetic.Honest.
