Job Summary
Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for an Oil & Gas company based in Gauteng. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and optimizing mechanical systems for various projects, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the engineering process.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis and calculations to support design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to drive project success and innovation.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing leadership and technical support.
- Review and critique project designs to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Participate in site visits to evaluate the implementation of designs and assist with troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related discipline. NO Btech Degrees will be accepted.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Age 40-50 yrs
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is desirable.
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in CAD and relevant engineering software.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in project management is an advantage.
