Job Summary
Hire Resolve’s Client in Cape Town, is urgently seeking a talented Graduate Accountant with Honors to join their team. As a Graduate Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and gain valuable experience in various aspects of accounting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform general accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Conduct analytical reviews of financial data to identify trends and anomalies
- Assist with tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information
- Stay updated with accounting regulations and industry best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with Honors ( Accounting up to 3rd year)
- Strong academic record with a focus on accounting courses
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Salary: R170K/yr, negotiable
