Job Summary
Salary:
R12,000 per month (Live-Out)
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and service-driven Assistant Restaurant Manager for a well-established luxury property group based in Hazyview. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end hospitality, exceptional guest service skills, and the ability to support the day-to-day operations of a busy restaurant.
Key
Responsibilities:

Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations
-
Ensure a smooth and efficient service in both front and back of house
-
Supervise and train wait staff to maintain service excellence
-
Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to feedback and complaints effectively
-
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the restaurant
-
Assist with inventory control and stock ordering for the restaurant
-
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
-
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and service
-
Support the planning and execution of special events and private functions
-
Handle administrative tasks, including staff scheduling and reporting
Minimum
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 23 years` experience in a similar supervisory or management role in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment

Hospitality qualification or relevant certification preferred
-
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
-
High attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities
-
Ability to work under pressure and manage a team effectively
-
Solid knowledge of food and beverage service standards
-
Must be guest-focused with a proactive and service-oriented approach
-
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required

Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Hazyview (live-out position)
