Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and guest-focused Guest Relations Officer for a prestigious luxury lodge based within the iconic Kruger National Park. This role offers a unique opportunity for a hospitality professional to be part of an award-winning team in one of South Africas premier safari destinations.
Key Focus Areas:

Perform reception and front-of-house duties related to all guest touchpoints
-
Handle guest interaction, hosting responsibilities, and administrative tasks
-
Obtain all reservation details prior to guest arrival and ensure thorough follow-up
-
Meet, greet, and check in guests, ensuring all welcome procedures and amenities are delivered
-
Manage guest check-out, including payment processing, key collection, and farewells
-
Provide accurate information about services, facilities, and accommodation
-
Ensure personalised guest experiences by maintaining exceptional attention to detail
-
Host meals when required and maintain a presence in guest areas
-
Conduct room and guest area checks to uphold housekeeping standards
-
Communicate guest preferences and dietary requirements effectively to relevant departments
-
Liaise with external stakeholders such as park staff, operators, transfer companies, and agents
-
Adhere to approved sustainability practices and company guidelines
-
Adapt to changing shifts and hours in line with a 24-hour operational environment
Requirements Qualifications and Skills:
-
Grade 12 certificate; a qualification in Travel and Tourism is advantageous
-
Minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role within hospitality
-
Computer literate with strong working knowledge of MS Office and PAN Strat
-
Good understanding of hospitality operations and guest experience delivery
-
Presentable and well-spoken with excellent interpersonal skills
-
Positive, confident, and emotionally intelligent team player
-
Strong organisational and communication skills
-
Must be a South African citizen or hold a valid work permit
