Job Summary
Inbound luxury Destination Management Company (DMC) is looking for an experienced Inbound Tour Consultant to join their team based in the East of Gauteng. Experience required:Experience as an Inbound Tour Consultant with a minimum of 3-4 years working in the luxuryinbound travel marketMinimum of 3-4 years of proven experience in luxury inbound travel as a consultantExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectivelywith high-profile clients & agentsKnowledge of luxury travel destinations, accommodations, and experiences in Southernand/or East AfricaExcellent written and verbal command of the English languageProficiency in Tourplan is essentialGood general computer skillsCrisis management and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle high volumes of work without compromising on accuracyWorking with a sense of urgency and meeting deadlinesDuties include:Planning, quoting and designing journeys throughout Southern and East Africa timeously andaccuratelyManaging all aspects of tours from quoting through to post tour file closureEnsuring your in-country guest tours run smoothly and without errorBeing on call for your in-country guests after hours while they are travelling.Tour administration to be maintained and accurate.Booking all services for your tours.Coordinating all invoicing / payments for your tours with accounts.Reconfirmation of all services prior to travel.
