Job Summary
Leading Refrigerated body & trailer manufacturer in Gauteng requires the services of an experienced stores/warehouse foreman with minimum 5 years production stores / warehouse experience.Must be energetic with exceptional attention to detail.No criminal record, own transport, able to handle severe pressure and preferably SA citizen.Diploma – Higher certificate in warehouse management / logistics will be beneficial and receive extra credit. Managing, maintaining, updating and re-inventing the KanBan program on a continual basis.Responsible for organising and recording all stock movement & finished product and conducting random checks on the BOM request/s. Maintaining systems and ensuring all data is recorded in the appropriate databases enabling the delivery of world class, best practice service to the client. Maintain a professional and effective relationship with all internal and external parties. Takes responsibility for own and others safety, follows guidelines and procedures Reports and escalates H+S issues.Responsible for ensuring a safe workplace and adherence to good housekeeping practices. Inventory Control for all Warehouse Functions Maintain quality systems to ensure safe and accurate inventory control to ensure traceability of all product history and correct product loaded against orders. Ensure all inventory transactions are captured inside the appropriate inventory system in a timely mannerOnly top 10 x applicants will be notified.
