Duty Manager KZN We are in search of a Duty Manager for a stunning intimate Lodge in Zululand. The lodge is one of a kind. Working and living in this area is absolutely an experience of a lifetime. The reserve allows for an array of experiences given its location. The lodge has been family run for 25 years and is a close knit team. The owners are directly involved so guidance is always given and passion is always shared. The lodge has a maximum of 20 guests so it is very guest focused and intimate. Every aspect of the guest experience has a wow factor. They pride themselves on really getting to know the guests so you must be comfortable with guest interaction. This is a dynamic roll because we need someone who has experience in Food and Beverage and who can confidently be involved with the team in kitchen operations. Skills Excellent communication Well presented Attention to detail Pro – active :prior planning is essential Strong in Food and Beverage Chef / kitchen experience Comfortable with guest interaction Quick thinking & problem solving Duties Hosting guests at meals Check in / out Co – ordinating guest activities Lodge Administration Town Trips Menu planning Ensure food quality is kept up to standard Stock Control and ordering / receiving Supplier cost analysis and budgets Assisting in the kitchen when needed Ensure kitchen and stores are highly organised at all times Admin Please send reference letters along with the application.
