About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Restaurant Manager to join our 5-star game lodge in Hoedspruit, Limpopo. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of service and Guest satisfaction, while managing multiple venues and running of outdoor functions. We require a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of service and Guest satisfaction.
- Manage and train waiter staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- Handle and execute Guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and tact.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update trends on menus and offerings.
- Oversee and drive wine list/service and training requirements with the team.
- Oversee and drive beverage/bar team and training requirements with team.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in similar position as Restaurant Manager.
- A La Carte service experience for 165 pax including buffet & outdoor functions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of restaurant management software is a plus.
