About the Role
The Sales Agronomist – Crop Protection role is a critical position that requires an individual with extensive experience in agricultural crop protection to drive regional sales and achieve set targets. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving regional sales and achieving set targets
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, distributors, and agents
- Executing regional marketing and sales strategies
- Coordinating product availability and forecasting
- Providing in-field technical support and stewardship for customers
- Assisting with or managing field efficacy trials, including setup, spraying, and monitoring
- Conducting competitor analysis and market reporting
- Representing the company at industry events, field days, and client visits
- Collaborating with internal technical, logistics, and R&D teams
Requirements
- Diploma, B. Tech., B. Sc., Hons or M. Sc. in Agriculture, Botany, Forestry or a related field
- Experience with herbicides in agricultural crop protection (preferred)
- Experience with field trials and research projects (advantageous)
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications in the specified fields are required.
