Job Summary
Location: Randburg
Type: Permanent & On-site
Salary: circa R50K per month negotiable
AA/EE Requirements: None
Essential Experience & Qualifications required for consideration:
- Postgraduate Honours (Masters degree highly preferred and will be given preference) in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years (preferred 8 years) HR experience, of which min 2 years (5 years preferred) must have been at Management level.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Zoho, Sage, SAP or similar)
- Exposure to senior and executive management in terms of business partnering
- Extensive experience in employee and industrial relations, recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Advanced /in-depth knowledge of Labour Legislation (LRA, BCEA, WCA, EEA)
- Membership with SABPP (preferred).
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
1.Recruitment & Talent Management (20%)
- Interview and recommend candidates aligned with company culture
- Ensure proper induction and training for new recruits.
2.Employee Engagement & Retention (30%)
- Build relationships with top talent and develop retention plans.
- Monitor employee morale and advise management on improvement strategies.
3.Performance Management & Industrial Relations 35%)
- Support management in employee performance monitoring.
- Address performance issues proactively.
4. Statutory Compliance (10%)
- Ensure full compliance with labour laws and regulations.
- Prevent non-compliance orders and mitigate risks.
5. Monthly Reporting & Administration (5%)
- Maintain an accurate HR tracker.
- Process salary administration and verify payroll information.
Additional Requirements:
- Overtime and weekend work when required.
- Travel as needed.
