Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in HVAC-R system integration or engineering, preferably in large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
• Languages: Fluent in Afrikaans.
• Ideal age range for candidates: 23–32 years.

• Strong understanding of HVAC-R system components, integration techniques, and industry standards.
• Experience with building automation systems (BAS), control systems, and energy management.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools).

• Personal Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement integration strategies for HVAC-R systems in larger infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, test, and commission HVAC-R systems that meet client specifications.
• Analyze system performance and provide recommendations to improve energy efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance system reliability.
• Oversee the integration of HVAC-R systems with other building automation systems (BAS) and controls.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of components and timely delivery for project milestones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integration during both the construction and operational phases.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system integration reports and user manuals.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and industry standards.
