Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain offices, kitchens, restrooms, and common areas.
- Ensure that office furniture, equipment, and floors are kept spotless.
- Prepare tea and coffee and assist with refreshments for meetings and visitors.
- Provide support with event preparation, including food and beverage arrangements.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, greeting clients, and managing deliveries and couriers.
- Monitor and maintain hygiene and safety standards in all areas.
- Follow proper procedures for using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Replenish office supplies and take inventory of cleaning and maintenance materials.
- Handle any ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
- Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)
- English and Afrikaans Essential
- Prior experience in cleaning roles
- Experience in administration is a plus
- Knowledge or experience in a similar industry is an advantage
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Well-groomed, friendly, and professional demeanour.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and proactive.
