Job Description

Hotel Duty Manager Job Purpose The Hotel Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth interdepartmental coordination, and adherence to hotel standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities Oversee the overall operation of the hotel during the shift Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and promptly resolve guest complaints Supervise Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance activities Ensure all departments operate according to hotel policies and standards Handle emergency situations and ensure safety procedures are followed Conduct daily shift briefings with department heads Monitor staff performance and provide on-the-spot guidance and support Assist with staff scheduling and attendance monitoring Ensure accurate reporting and handover between shifts Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and service quality throughout the hotel Assist in managing room occupancy, VIP arrivals, and special requests Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations Support cost control and efficient use of hotel resources Minimum Requirements Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in hotel operations, with supervisory experience Strong knowledge of Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage operations Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays Computer literate with knowledge of hotel management systems Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions To Apply: Send your CV to: Apply Below
