About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our KwaZulu-Natal team, responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our forestry and vegetable plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage a fleet of delivery vehicles, including attending to breakdowns
- Maintain all nursery vehicles, machinery, and equipment
- Provide technical backup and support to KwaZulu-Natal clients
- Manage the workshop, tools, and staff within the maintenance department
- Fabricate nursery equipment as required
- Plan and manage nursery construction and infrastructure projects
- Implement, manage, and maintain ISO 9001 maintenance systems and records
Requirements
- Honest, reliable, and hardworking with a strong sense of responsibility
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Positive, hands-on “get the job done” attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
- Diesel mechanic and welding qualifications will be advantageous (not essential)
- Fluent in English and isiZulu
- Computer literate
