<p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p><ul><li>To ensure the delivery of occupationally directed education, training and development to KAP Automotive line managers and employees in order to improve the performance of individuals and effectiveness of the organisation.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Educational Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>National Diploma in Human Resource Management or relevant tertiary qualification in the Education, Training and Development field at NQF level 6</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Registered Skills Development Facilitator / Coach and Mentor / Assessor and Moderator</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Key Performance Areas</strong></p><p><strong>HR Legislation:</strong></p><ul><li>Translate legislative changes into relevant HR Policies and Practices.</li><li>An in depth understanding of and to comply with the relevant HR Legislation (Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, BBBEE Act, Skills Development Act, MIBCO Main Agreement etc.)</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Employment Equity:</strong></p><ul><li>Participate in the implementation and utilisation of equity related processes.</li><li><strong>BBBEE:</strong></li><li>Create an awareness of BBBEE within the Group.</li><li>Assist the Learning &amp; Development Manager with the skills element within BBBEE</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Training and Development:</strong></p><ul><li>Assist the line managers and facilitators in identifying employee training needs and problem solving around these issues.</li><li>Analyse the individual development plans of employees to understand the training and development requirements.</li><li>Discuss with external suppliers and facilitators on specific requirements of the learning and development intervention and source details, as defined in the training strategy, in order to meet organisational, departmental and individual development needs. (evaluate the programmes using accepted criteria).</li><li>Schedule staff to attend internal and external learning events in accordance with the wider learning and development strategy.</li><li>Develop material for in-house training.</li><li>Ensure that appropriate resources are available, e.g. venue, equipment, course material, manpower, etc.</li><li>Collate training information for audit purposes BBBEE, ISO etc.</li><li>Participate in audits and ensure recommendations are actioned.</li><li>Facilitate internal training interventions.</li><li>Gather information for learning communications i.e. noticeboards, newsletters etc.</li><li>Collate learning and development evaluations to enable amendments to programmes.</li><li>Provide technical expertise on external industry committees and bodies.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Administration:</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li>Prepare learning and development materials to a consistently high standard and ensure that they reach the delegates/facilitators within agreed timescales.</li><li>Update the learning and development calendar.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Workplace Assessments:</strong></p><ul><li>Administer, coordinate and maintain assessment records.</li><li>Coordinate Standards Based Assessments processes and conduct outcomes-based assessments.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>SETA Management:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage learners and learnerships through the SETA.</li><li>Co-ordinate and provide input into the Workplace Skills Plan to ensure accurate and timely submission.</li><li>Provide administrative support in the skills development levy claim process.</li><li>Perform programme planning, co-ordination and qualification development within the SETA framework.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Reporting:</strong></p><ul><li>Compile Training and Development monthly reports</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p>
