<p>Well-established company specialises in the development leasing and management of commercial and industrial real estate</p><p>Joining their team means seizing an opportunity to work in a dynamic, industry leading property company in South Africa, where ethics, customer service and teamwork are the foundations of our success</p><p><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW</strong></p><p>As a Revenue Management Controller, you need to have good credit management, your duties include conducting credit checks on new customers, resolving problems in relation to invoice payments, and reconciling complex month-end accounts</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and monitor a credit control system in collaboration with sales and marketing, finance, and executive team members</li><li>Creating procedures and policies that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention</li><li>Establish policies that follow customer service best practices while ensuring customers submit payments on time</li><li>Reconciling complex accounts that have been escalated from the AR team</li><li>Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO</li><li>Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team</li><li>Maintain loan records, conduct regular analysis of the credit-control system, and implement changes as needed to reduce bad debts</li><li>Follow up on overdue invoices and payments and escalate as necessary</li><li>Look for ways to improve debt collection processes</li><li>Reply promptly to client questions and concerns received by voicemail or via written communication</li><li>Process irreconcilable debts/prepare debt write-offs, as in the case of bankruptcy, to be written off and archived</li><li>Establish and maintain regular communications with clients to facilitate periodic payments</li><li>Develop and maintain the groups customer onboarding and data management process and systems</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred</li><li>1-2 years of experience in a similar role</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS</strong></p><ul><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software</li><li>Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy</li><li>Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems</li><li>Knowledge of revenue management best practices is a plus</li></ul><p> </p><p>Should you wish to apply please submit your CV through for consideration.</p><p>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
