About the Role

The Group Internal Audit (GIA) team at our client, a top bank, is dedicated to providing independent, objective assurance to the Board of Directors via the Group Audit Committee. Our mission is to ensure that governance processes, risk management, and internal control systems are adequate and effective to mitigate both current and emerging risks that could impact the achievement of the Groups strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver on the annual audit plan to provide reasonable assurance to stakeholders that key risks are being mitigated through effective management controls, in accordance with the GIA methodology.
Conduct data analytics to support audit execution and reporting.
Execute audits as required.
Document audit findings and recommendations.
Manage relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

BSc/BCom degree.
Optional: CIA, CFE, ACAMS certification.
Manager equivalent experience with 6-8 years of experience in AML and Fraud, Data Analytics, Coding in SAS and SQL.
Audit experience optional.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.
