Job Description
The Group Internal Audit (GIA) team at our client, a top bank, is dedicated to providing independent, objective assurance to the Board of Directors via the Group Audit Committee. Our mission is to ensure that governance processes, risk management, and internal control systems are adequate and effective to mitigate both current and emerging risks that could impact the achievement of the Groups strategic objectives. We aim to improve the internal control and risk culture of the Group through our work.
Accountability of the Group Internal Audit Portfolio Manager: Credit: As the Group Internal Audit Portfolio Manager for Credit, you will be responsible for delivering on the annual audit plan to provide reasonable assurance to stakeholders that key risks are being mitigated through effective management controls, in accordance with the GIA methodology. Your duties will include data analytics, audit execution, documentation, relationship management with internal teams and stakeholders, and report writing.
Qualifications Required:
- Essential: BSc/BCom
- Optional: CIA, CFE, ACAMS
Experience Required:
- Manager equivalent with 6-8 years of experience, with specific expertise in:
- AML and Fraud experience
- Data Analytics
- Coding in SAS and SQL
- Audit experience (optional)
