About the Role
Telebest is seeking a Project Engineer to support the successful execution of multiple equipment build projects in Springs on the East Rand. The incumbent will manage up to five concurrent equipment builds, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and timely delivery while maintaining close collaboration with customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project execution for up to five equipment builds simultaneously.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact project timelines or costs.
- Monitor project progress and report updates to the Project Manager and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably in mining, construction, industrial, or heavy equipment manufacturing.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in machinery.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Experience with on-site commissioning and technical troubleshooting.
