The Role: Azure DevOps Engineer This role focuses on building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks that enable fast, reliable, and secure software delivery. You will work closely with development, cloud and architecture teams to streamline operations and support continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Build, manage and optimise Azure cloud infrastructure and services Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Automate deployment, monitoring and scaling processes Manage Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, ARM or Bicep Implement and support containerisation and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) Collaborate with development and architecture teams to align DevOps practices Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability Enhance cloud security, governance and compliance standards Troubleshoot cloud, infrastructure and deployment issues About You 5 years’ experience in DevOps, cloud engineering or related fields Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps Skilled in CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep) Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) Solid understanding of cloud security, networking and governance principles Analytical, detail-oriented and solutions-focused Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and hybrid environments Advantageous: Azure certifications (e.g. AZ-400, AZ-104), scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
