About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled finance professional to join our dynamic leadership team as Assistant Financial Manager. In this hands-on, high-impact role, you will work closely with operations and leadership to shape financial strategy, strengthen controls, and support business growth in a fast-growing hospitality group.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing group financial management, reporting, and controls
- Driving financial strategy, governance, and operational efficiency
- Partnering with operational teams to support performance and growth
- Implementing and improving financial structures, systems, and processes
- Providing insights and recommendations to support executive decisions
- Taking ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Playing an active role in commercial decision-making and business operations
Requirements
- CA(SA) OR BCom with completed articles
- Minimum 34 years post-articles experience (non-negotiable)
- Experience within hospitality, FMCG, or property sectors advantageous
- Strong technical accounting and financial management skills
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders
- High level of independence and decision-making capability
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, high-growth environment
