Job Summary

Branding and Vinyl Specialist Our client a leading provider of secure power and data centre solutions is currently looking for a Branding and Vinyl Specialist based at their head office in Ferndale, Johannesburg to join their dynamic team. The Branding and Vinyl Specialist will report to the Marketing Manager while working hand- in-hand with the graphics team. The primary function of the Branding and Vinyl Specialist is to ensure that the organisation and associated company brands are accurately represented on all products, solutions, and services, including buildings, vehicles, events, and shows. This role involves developing creative ideas and concepts, as well as executing vinyl applications and managing the entire process from design to installation.

Responsibilities:

Signage & Labelling: Responsible for designing, printing, and installing signage on buildings, products, vehicles, and customer sites. Work closely with internal and external customers to receive and understand briefs. Ensure the timely delivery of all labelling and signage requirements. Event Organizing: Assist with organizing and setting up events such as exhibitions, seminars, sales conferences, open days, product launches, staff/customer parties, and year-end events. Plan and manage the logistics of events, including setup and support as required by the marketing manager. Graphic Design & Creative Development: Create compelling artwork for labels, signage, stickers, branding materials, mock-ups, and more, ensuring alignment with brand CI. Prepare design mock-ups and present them to the marketing manager before finalizing concepts. Ensure all artwork is accurate and supplied in the correct format, sizes, and colour codes before sending it to press and production facilities. Control and Management: Responsible for maintenance and servicing of marketing equipment such as traffolyte and vinyl printers. Manage and maintain all branding materials, including banners, gazebos, etc. Manage relationships with marketing suppliers, including branding providers, printers, and maintenance services. Correctly report and utilise the marketing digital environment to ensure consistent reporting, task updates, and clear communication (e.g., using tools like ClickUp, SharePoint, etc.). Provide weekly reports on project progress to the marketing manager. Ad-Hoc Marketing

Duties:

Assist with administrative tasks for the Marketing Department, including PO creation and vendor sourcing. Help with content creation for projects and company events, including photography and videography. Assist with any other ad-hoc tasks required by the marketing team. Initiative & Leadership: Take initiative in driving operations related to signage and labelling, ensuring briefs are accurate and maintaining constant communication with all involved parties. Requirements:

3 years of experience in vinyl application, including application to various surfaces such as boards, windows, and vehicles. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities. Experience with printers and plotters; familiarity with Roland VersaWorks is advantageous. Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams and customers. Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines. A valid drivers license is essential. Fluency in written and spoken English. Self-starter with the ability to proactively create and manage briefs. Self-motivated and able to function with minimum supervision.

Salary:

R25 000 R35 000 p/m
