Job Description
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across air, sea, and road freight services
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and client visits
- Promote and sell end-to-end clearing and forwarding solutions, including customs clearance, warehousing, and transport
- Negotiate rates, prepare proposals, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and global freight developments
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in new business sales within the Clearing & Forwarding or Freight Forwarding industry
- Strong understanding of import/export processes, customs procedures, and incoterms
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
